Very quaint no frills cafe, grocery and bakery! I opted to get the daily special which was bacon-wrapped chicken, beans, rice and farofa (brazilian side dish with eggs, beef, onions and manioc flour) and potato salad. The service was attentive and they took time to explain the specials and the food was brought out within 8 to 10 minutes! The portions were huge, including two of the bacon- wrapped chicken! All the food was well seasoned, delicious and filling! They even had Brazilian guarana to drink!! I also ordered a beef and chicken meat pie to go and was amazed at the portion size!! Also delicious!! I highly recommend this cafe and I'm looking forward to eating there often!!

This is NOT a sweets bakery. The staff speaks little English (native Portuguese), so there was a confusion about what was in the meat pastries. One of them he said cheese, we confirmed, "just cheese, no pork" he said, only cheese. It ended up being HAM and cheese. After using a translation app, he didn't seem happy about it, but changed for a different pastry. The chicken one that looks like a big teardrop was our favorite meat one, and the little small round balls (cheese only) were delicious too. All were very flavorful. We tried the beef ones too, but since we were trying to find breakfast, it was just too heavy, as they are straight beef only. $28 for 7 pastries with one bottle water.
